A key highlight of the opening day is the Nano Finance Day, featuring representatives from banks, innovation funds, and venture capital firms. Sessions are dedicated to discussing new financial models for tech enterprises, investment facilitation tools, and strategies for market expansion of nanotechnology products.

The National Nanotechnology Laboratory Network has also begun its activities at the exhibition, presenting Iran’s testing, calibration, and laboratory infrastructure. This section serves as a hub for researchers and students, connecting them with specialized facilities and service providers.

One of the key scientific events of this year’s exhibition is the 4th International Nano–Micro Science and Technology Symposium, jointly organized by five leading Iranian universities.

The symposium’s theme, “Transformative Technologies: A Five-Year Outlook,” explores topics such as smart sensors, integration of energy, processing, and intelligence, and nanotechnology convergence with micro and photonics technologies.

Industrial exhibitors remain a major attraction, showcasing how nanotechnology contributes to economic growth and sustainable development. Visitors can explore practical applications in healthcare, energy, agriculture, and construction, gaining insight into how nanotechnology innovations are entering domestic and global markets.

The international program features a specialized session on participation in the development of international nanotechnology standards, aimed at strengthening Iran’s active role in global standardization frameworks. Representatives from the Iran National Standards Organization, technical experts, and members of ISO committees share experiences and best practices in shaping emerging nano standards.

Another major event is the Ambassadors’ Meeting and Nano Export Awards Ceremony, attended by foreign ambassadors, exporters, and representatives of globally active companies, designed to promote international partnerships and export growth in Iran’s nanotechnology sector.

This year’s Technology and Innovation Pavilion showcases new products in nanocoatings, nanocomposites, advanced filters, pharmaceutical materials, and smart sensors, highlighting the transformation of laboratory concepts into commercial products.

For younger audiences and academic visitors, the “Booth Walk” educational tours introduce selected innovations and trace the evolution of nanotechnology in Iran through interactive presentations.

In parallel, the Microelectronics and Photonics Technology Campus Forum focuses on the convergence of nanotechnology with micro and photonic sciences, exploring industrial collaboration opportunities.

The CONNECT Forum also gathers start-up founders, technologists, and innovation managers to exchange experiences, present joint projects, and expand networks across Iran’s innovation ecosystem.

The exhibition remains open to the public, students, researchers, and investors until Wednesday, November 5. Organizers anticipate that, with the rapid expansion of the nanotechnology market and the strong presence of knowledge-based companies, this year’s edition will set new records in contracts, collaborations, and investment partnerships.
