Syringe filters are used to disinfect (especially microbe) a variety of low-volume fluids, typically by attaching them to a syringe. The syringe filter consists of two key parts. The first is a polymer membrane syringe filter with porosity, size, specific pores and a absorbent module that can be linked to the syringe or any other system having identical path to the syringe terminal. The second part is a robust polymer syringe filter which defends the membrane in a good manner. The solution inside the syringe gets free of bacteria and other undesirable particles after passing through the syringe filter path. If the contamination or microbial load of the fluid is high, blockage of the pores happens through filtration and operation is hence stopped. Moreover, it has been observed that most of these filters screen a definite and regularly low volume of fluid and turn out to be somehow inoperative due to the low porosity of conventional membranes. In addition, most conventional membranes fail due to low load-bearing capability while exposing to high pressure. So, Iranian Nano Polymer Membrane Company has improved the efficiency of this product by using nanotechnology in this product.
