Introduction
 
Electrospinning is the applicable methods for polymer nanofibers producing in industrial or laboratory-scale. The polymer precursor can be in solution state or polymer melt as the process input. In this method it tried to produce the polymer stream assisting of strong electrical field at the first, then the steam followed by destabilizing can produce polymer nanofibers.
The electrospinning system includes 3 main units; 1- spinneret unit connected to a high DC voltage (several tens of kV), 2- syringe pump, and 3- collecting plate with reverse polarity of spinneret unit. The electrospinning system mechanism is briefly explained as follow; the syringe pump injects certain polymer flow into the spinneret unit. The spinneret unit comprise capillary tube, able to continuously produce a ∼1-mm (even less) diameter liquid stream. By exerting high voltage, the induced electrical force overcomes to the liquid surface tension inside the capillary tube and initiate to flow of the liquid stream. The electrical field accelerates electrically charged liquid stream jet towards the collector plate. The electrical charges cause formation of strong electrostatic repulsive forces among polymer, when solvent dries or molten polymer cools down chains. This electrostatic repulsion disturbs the precursor stream jet, cause sort of whipping motions, successive stretching and bending, and finally results in persistent thinning of the stream jet. The polymer fibers with the finest diameter take shape when the stream jet reach to the collector plate. The nanofibers can be produced by adjusting parameters of the process

When the electrostatic repulsion forces overcomes the surface tension forces, the destruction, bending, turning and stretching of fibers occurs; combination of these phenomena or each one can lead to the conversion of a jet fluid with millimeter diameter to one or several jet fluids with nanometric diameter. So this device can be used mainly in nanofiber production.
