This product contains nano layers of TiN/TiAlSiN coating applied on stainless steel to improve mechanical properties and wear resistance of this type of steel. The use of multilayer coatings is basically due to integration of the properties of various coatings and optimization of coating properties. TiN/TiAlSiN nano-composite has a very high hardness due to presence of TiAlSiN (TiAlN/α-Si3N4) and very low residual stress and provides high temperature resistance. Multilayered TiAlSiN/TiN structure leads to increase in coating hardness, optimized toughness and high temperature resistance. The last layer made of TiAlSiN controls tribological and final properties of the coatings due to the very high hardness, good roughness and high temperature resistance.
