Introduction
 
Polyethylene masterbatches are widely used in the polymer industry and can be designed and manufactured according to the basic type used in the product. Polyethylene (PE) is a light, solid inactive thermoplastic and one of the simplest and cheapest polymers with good mechanical, electrical and chemical properties and is produced in various types based on density (low density HDPE or high LDPE). The polymers surface has a high coefficient of friction and are inherently prone to adhere to one another and to metal surfaces. This feature causes problems during the production or application of polymers when rolling films, opening nylon bags, sewing and cutting film, and releasing the polymer from the mold as well as during storage. An anti-lock masterbatch or lubricant is used to solve this challenge and prevents the film from stacking and adhering to each other. Anti-block masterbatch is a combination of special additives for efficient anti block and the special processing aid technology. Add this product to the plastic, on one hand can be formed on the surface layer of plastic is extremely thin film lubrication with maintaining smoothness. Antibodies contain various organic and inorganic substances. Mineral compounds prevent polymer-to-polymer contact by roughening the film surface, and organic compounds result in reduced friction coefficient. Various substances such as talc, calcium carbonate and silicate are used as anti-blockers. Nowadays, nanometric additives are used in the manufacturing process to further improve the properties of materials made of polyethylene such as the anti-lock property.
