Iran has positioned itself as a pioneer in science and technology diplomacy by founding and organizing the International Nanotechnology Olympiads for both university and high school students. Through the leadership of the Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council (INIC), these Olympiads have evolved into international platforms that merge scientific education, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. The 16th International Nanotechnology Exhibition of Iran concluded on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Persian Gulf Hall of the Tehran International Permanent Fairground. The four-day event, which began on November 2, brought together a wide range of knowledge-based companies, research centers, investors, and industrial leaders, with a strong focus on commercialization, emerging technologies, and international collaboration.

A team of nanoelectronics researchers from Sharif University of Technology has introduced two advanced diagnostic systems for measuring blood hemoglobin, one of which operates completely non-invasively, requiring no blood sampling. The unveiling took place at the 16th International Nanotechnology Exhibition of Iran (Iran Nano 2025).

The Iranian company Ava Teyf Negar Pouya has successfully designed and developed a portable, non-invasive hemoglobin meter, a breakthrough device capable of measuring blood hemoglobin levels in less than 1 minute without blood sampling.
