Dr. Ali Beitollahi attended the second EU-Asia Dialogue on NanoSafety in Austria where he proposed plans to launch an online network as a first step to initiate cooperation between Asia and Europe.
Following the first EU-Asia Dialogue on NanoSafety, originally initiated by Iran’s Nanotechnology Innovation Council (INIC), the second dialogue was held on October 29th, 2018 by Austria’s Ministry of Innovation and Technology.
Experts from Iran, Austria, France, Greece, Italy, South Korea, Russia, Portugal, Slovenia, Thailand, and Taiwan attended this event. During the event, Dr. Ali Beitollahi, director of the INIC standardization workgroup proposed an online network as a first step in Asia and Europe cooperation towards realization of the “network of network” goal.
This international event facilitates the transfer of knowledge, information, and experience in the safety and certification of nanotechnology products and helps advance cooperation between Asia and Europe.
The third EU-Asia Dialogue on NanoSafety will be held on March 18th, 2019 in Thailand.
