The 11th exhibition of laboratory equipment and materials “Iran Sakht”, to develop the market of knowledge-based companies and empower laboratory and research complexes, was held from January 2 to 5.

Javad Mashayekh, vice president of knowledge-based economy development, said: The purpose of this exhibition was to reduce the dependence of laboratories on imported equipment and materials, as well as to improve the capabilities of domestic manufacturers and support knowledge-based companies in the field of equipment manufacturing and production.

The vice president of knowledge-based economy development pointed to the effects of holding this exhibition and said: the institutionalization of the culture of supporting domestic production and directing the public sector to buy products made in Iran, increasing the employment of specialists, increasing the sales volume, increasing the capacity Export, provision of laboratory infrastructure needed by universities and research institutes, and strengthening of experimental and research capacity and capacity building of domestic companies are among the positive effects that this exhibition left behind.

According to him, the 11th edition of the "Iransakht" laboratory equipment and materials exhibition was held in 14 thematic sections to supply Iransakht's technological products and services. "Oil and Petrochemical", "Electricity", "Electronics and Software", "Civil Engineering", "Mechanics", "Chemistry and Metallurgy", "Agriculture and Environment", "Basic Physics", "General Laboratory Equipment", " Laboratory Materials", "Medical engineering and biomaterials", "Industrial test equipment", "Calibration services" and "Educational and laboratory equipment for schools" were the focus of this event.

Mashayekh pointed out: the basic condition of the presence of the manufacturers in that exhibition was to confirm their role in the localization of a technology or product. These companies were subjected to technical investigation. Also, the prices of the products were evaluated so that the products were offered at a fair price in the exhibition. Among other conditions, it was necessary to provide proper after-sales service and have approvals and technical standards.
