The International Nano Olympiad (INO) is a global competition that fosters innovation in nanotechnology among students. It consists of two stages: the National Phase, where teams within each country compete, presenting their projects to expert judges, and the top team is selected to represent their nation. In the International Phase, national teams from various countries gather to compete, showcasing their innovations to a global panel, with winners recognized for their contributions to advancing nanotechnology.

The Iran selection process was held at the INIC with ten teams presenting their creative proposals. Following rigorous evaluations by a panel of experts, one team will be selected to represent Iran at the Nano Olympiad in Malaysia. This event highlights the commitment to fostering innovation and competition among students in the field of nanotechnology. The judging sessions for the second International Nanotechnology Olympiad took place on September 8 and 9, 2024, at the INIC. During these two days, ten teams of contestants presented their proposals to a jury committee composed of six expert members.

The evaluation process was thorough, as teams showcased their scientific and technical capabilities, responded to questions, and demonstrated their proficiency in English.

The results will be published soon after the final jury committee meeting. The INIC has also announced that it will cover the travel expenses for the selected team members, ensuring their participation in this prestigious international competition.
