Since 2003, the Nano Korea exhibition, organized by South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, has been a key global event in nanoscience and technology. Nano Korea 2024 included 140 companies in nanotechnology, plus exhibitions on lasers (95 companies), advanced ceramics (53 companies), and smart sensors.

The event featured seminars with university professors and international technologists, a student poster exhibition, workshops, and paid educational classes. Daily seminars were held on topics like two-dimensional materials and bio-materials.

The Iranian attendees noted a strong interest in collaboration with companies specializing in graphene and two-dimensional materials. The exhibition supports the development and export of nanotechnology products, with both large companies and startups like Noropaint participating.

On the first day of the exhibition, the Two-Dimensional Materials Seminar was held and attended by some members of the Iranian trade delegation. In this seminar, Nanoplexus discussed MXense (materials soluble and dispersible in water with various applications). Additionally, the Taiwanese company Tavian Carbon Materials presented its products in the field of Advanced Carbon Materials. The third part of the seminar was dedicated to graphene materials and their production using the CVD method, which is highly applicable to LED products.

On the second day, in addition to visiting the exhibition booths, various seminars were held in which members of the Iranian trade delegation participated. The Nano Cellulose Seminar started with a lecture by a member of the Hiroshima University faculty on recent trends in nano cellulose in Japan, discussing the applications of these environmentally friendly materials. At the end of the session, a booklet introducing cellulose products and their manufacturing methods was distributed to the attendees.

This exhibition, by presenting new achievements and holding specialized seminars, provided a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange and international cooperation in the field of nanotechnology. The presence of the Iranian delegation at this event enabled familiarization with new trends and the development of trade relations, promising more collaborations in the near future.
