Iran’s nanotechnology products exports almost doubled compared to the numbers in 2017.
Competing with the leading exports in the middle east, Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council (INIC) has been targeting to reach first place in the nanotechnology export. The first step towards achieving this goal was to expand the nanotechnology market at the national level. Recent analysis suggests that Iran’s nanotechnology market has grown by 97%, 98% and 128% in 2015, 2016 and 2017 respectively. This trend has continued into 2018 in which the total market size grew by 95%.
In 2018, 18% of the annual revenue was created by exporting the products to countries in Asia, Europe, and America. Germany, Italy, Australia, Switzerland, Sweden, USA, Canada, China, and South Korea are among countries where Iranian nanotechnology products have been exported.
