Protection of building, esp. its structures which are usually made of metal materials, is considerably important. This should be considered by designers and engineers. The use of fireproof cement can reduce damage in the event of disaster. This company uses nanometric components to improve fireproof properties and reduce coating thickness. Also, this nanometric components could delay reaching the bending temperature and would be resulted in lighter and more efficient structure. This is done by fireproof coatings. In general, structural steels have a bending temperature of about 500 Celsius degrees.
Thus, building structures will be considerably vulnerable without the use of fireproof coatings. The product offered by this Iranian company is a cement-based mineral coating containing fireproof nanoparticles. It is used to protect all metal components of offices as well as commercial and industrial structures against fire.
According to national building regulations, the use of fire-protection materials in all or parts of buildings with metal structures is mandatory. Fireproof coating is based on refractory minerals and contains materials such as vermiculite, plaster, cement, foaming materials, etc. Due to high thermal resistance and low thermal conductivity, fireproof coating reduces heat transfer and causes a delay in structure collapse against fire.
