Innovative Nanotechnology Showcase:  globally innovative products at the 15th Nanotechnology Exhibition

A booth dedicated to showcasing globally innovative products was established for the second consecutive year at the 15th Nanotechnology Exhibition, which took place at Tehran's International Fairgrounds from November 3 to 6. Located in the Persian Gulf Hall on the second floor, this booth was positioned alongside the Akam section, which focused on scaling up startups for visitor engagement.

Operating under the slogan "Think Differently and Be Transformative," the booth featured a range of products utilizing nanotechnology across various sectors, including medicine, industry, environment, and electronics. Some of the highlighted innovations included:
  • Rotating Abrasive and Nanometric Polishing Machine: Enhanced surface polishing quality and ease of use.
  • Automatic Continuous Microneedle Production Device: Streamlined manufacturing processes with high scalability.
  • Lead-Acid Super Battery: Doubled lifespan compared to commercial models and increased capacity by up to 25%.
  • Hybrid Inhibitor and Stabilizer for Water-Sensitive Formations (Shale): Improved drilling speed by over 50% while addressing environmental challenges.
Other notable products on display were:
  • Granular Nano Absorbent: Effectively removed arsenic from water with double the absorption capacity of foreign samples.
  • Technetium-99m Radioactive Drug Active Ingredient: Provided high accessibility at a cost one-tenth that of foreign equivalents.
  • Novel Alzheimer Treatment Using Focused Ultrasound and Nanobubbles: Boosted drug efficacy by 30% while reducing dosage requirements to one-third.
  • Polymer Solid Electrolyte for Lithium Batteries: Enhanced battery capacity by up to two times and reduced charging time to under 15 minutes.
  • Polymeric Drug Nano rays: Targeted tumors from nerve and endocrine origins, improving efficacy by 50% while lowering treatment costs and side effects.
  • Body Cooling Pad Utilizing Nanomaterials: Designed for easy use without needing a specific cooling source.
Last year's exhibition drew significant attention, and this year's event was expected to attract even more visitors eager to explore cutting-edge advancements in nanotechnology.
