An Iranian sanitation system has been set-up by Palayesh Plasma Sanaat Co. that can supply arsenic-free water to a city with a population of 5500 people.

Palayesh Sanaat Co. managed to set-up a heavy-metal removal system for drinking water. This system can sanitize 1000 cubic meters of water which is enough for 5500 individuals.
Recent analysis shows that the above-mentioned system has an improved heavy metal toxicity removal capability compared to standard systems, it can eradicate 99% of micro-organisms, and finally, it can eliminate the odor that is produced by living organisms.
It is worth mentioning that this system is preliminary certified by European Association for Green Management.
