Non-Invasive Breast Cancer Detection with Iran-Made CDP Device


A product developed by a knowledge-based company at the 12th Iran-Made Exhibition enables physicians to diagnose breast cancer non-invasively.

The Director of Research and Development at Nano Hesgar Sazan Salamat Ariya, stated: "The Cancer Diagnostic Probe (CDP) device is a significant breakthrough for the immediate and non-invasive detection of margins contaminated with pre-cancerous or cancerous cells."

He continued: "This device, with an accuracy of over 93%, can identify cancerous cells during breast cancer surgeries and prevent the retention of contaminated margins in the body."

He also emphasized that using the CDP device during breast cancer surgeries reduces the retention of contaminated margins in the patient's body by approximately 30%. The device represents an effective and non-invasive method for breast cancer detection.

Regarding the device's capabilities, he added: "The ability to assess undetected tumors is another prominent feature of this device, significantly aiding in the timely diagnosis of diseases."

The Director of Research and Development also highlighted other achievements, stating: "The publication of articles in reputable journals and obtaining five patents in the United States are among our team's other research accomplishments in this field."
