Optimization of Energy Consumption Using Nanotechnology in UPVC Windows

An Iranian company produces UPVC door and window profiles using nanoparticles that increases its durability and reduces energy consumption.

Reducing energy consumption has become an important issue in the world. Various methods are proposed for reduction of energy consumption. One of these methods is the use of double-glazed UPVC windows. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a light and strong plastic commonly used in construction industry. By adding plasticizers to PVC, it becomes softer and also more flexible. Now, if no plasticizer is added, this material is known as UPVC.
Shahin Sazeh Fajr Company improves its UPVC window and door profiles with nanotechnology. Nanoparticles increase the impact resistance of these products. These profiles are used in various industrial and household products including dental industry, pipe production, and construction industry (frames for double-glazed windows).
