Dr. Mousavi Shaeq is the CEO of Riz Samaneh Behbood Darman, a company specializing in microfluidic equipment for nanoparticle production. Earlier this year, he also won the Alborz Foundation Award and the National Sheikh Bahai Technology Entrepreneurship Festival Award.
Founded in 2020, Riz Samaneh Behbood Darman, operating under the brand NanoSynthesis, focuses on designing and manufacturing devices for the synthesis of nano-drug carriers using microfluidic technology. The company has successfully developed two devices for producing lipid-based and polymeric nanocarriers at both laboratory and industrial scales.
Its first product, the INSIGHT® laboratory-scale NanoSynthesis system, enables the production of nanoparticles smaller than 100 nanometers with low dispersity and high drug encapsulation efficiency. This device is primarily used for research and development in new drug formulations, as well as in cellular and animal testing. Once the final formulation is validated, it can be scaled up using the INSPIRE® industrial NanoSynthesis system, which ensures large-scale production while maintaining high quality.
The company’s team consists of experienced professionals and consultants in engineering, pharmaceuticals, and nanotechnology, utilizing advanced tools to design, manufacture, and test their cutting-edge devices.
