Valian, CEO of Novin Polymer Sabz Company says: "As a manufacturer of plastic products using nanotechnology, we are exporting our products to neighboring countries as well as some of Europian ones.”
He added: “Our company participates in various international exhibitions and we succeeded in developing a contract with customers from Armenia. Based on this contract, biodegradable antibacterial nanotechnology-based garbage bags will be exported to this country.
Development of resistant and biodegradable plastic bag technology was carried out to help the environment and reduce plastic waste. Currently, the market signals positive remarks to the product. Thus, it is used for fruits and vegetable inside the country. This nanoproduct was tested and evaluated by various customers. It has certain advantages over common plastic bags. High tensile and physical resistance, heat resistance and biodegradability are among some of the features of this product. In these bags, antibacterial nanoparticles prevent the growth of microorganisms that may cause pollution. Zinc oxide nanoparticles show strong antibacterial property against pathogenic bacteria. Hospitals and clinics are also among major potential customers of this product.
