Khwarizmi Technology Development's product portfolio includes various adsorbents and catalysts for steel direct reduction units producing sponge iron using the DRI method, as well as catalysts for the urea, ammonia, and methanol production chain. Additionally, Khwarizmi produces hydrogen production catalysts for refineries, liquid oil hydrogenation catalysts, ODS catalysts, and Active Clay. Last year, the company expanded its offerings to include Hydro-Treating catalysts for liquid hydrocarbon cuts, with several other strategic catalysts in the localization stages set to enter industrial production this year.
This company is also a major producer of active zinc oxide and desulfurization adsorbents in the Middle East, having delivered over 5000 tons of desulfurization adsorbents to various industries. Furthermore, the company has developed technical knowledge to recover base metals from spent catalysts, achieving significant scientific success and winning the top project award at the Khwarizmi International Festival.
