The cover design of the latest issue of the “Analytical Chemistry “journal belonging to the American Chemical Society, which is the most prestigious journal of analytical chemistry, was dedicated to the article of the research group of Dr. Mohammadreza Hormozinezhad, professor of the Faculty of Chemistry.
The research group of Dr. Mohammadreza Hormozinezhad, Professor of the Faculty of Chemistry, presented a new corrosion method for gold plasmonic nanorods as a new class of chromophores, a new colorimetric method for identifying and quantifying 20 natural amino acids by combining the unique optical properties of gold plasmonic nanorods and artificial intelligence techniques (Machine Learning). The results of this research were published in Analytical Chemistry magazine, and by the decision of the editorial board of the magazine, it was chosen as the cover design of the latest issue.
The results of this research work are a part of the dissertation of Afsaneh Orouji, a PhD student in Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, in collaboration with Mehdi Qamsari, a master's student.
It should be noted that Analytical Chemistry is one of the publications of the American Chemical Society and the most reliable analytical chemistry journal in the world with an impact factor of 8 and an H index of 356.
