Dr. Ahmadvand, the secretary of Iran's Nanotechnology Innovation Council (INIC) briefly introduced Iran's nanotechnology activities and achievements. He also highlighted the opportunities for scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries as well as inter-university cooperation, joint industrial projects and laboratory equipment exchange.
Mr. Bautista, Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Environment of the Republic of Cuba, emphasized on development of specific products and services, establishment of an IHIT (Iran's House of Innovation and Technology) center in Havana, and establishment of an Iranian-Cuban research center in Havana.
At the end of this meeting, Mr. Bautista visited the permanent exhibition of Iran's nanotechnology products at INIC
