On Wednesday, January 24, 2025, a briefing session for the Iranian trade delegation to the Nano Japan 2025 exhibition was held at the INIC. The event was attended by representatives from 16 export companies and delegation organizers.
Nano Japan 2025, one of the world’s leading nanotechnology exhibitions, offers Iranian companies an exceptional opportunity to explore cutting-edge innovations and establish collaborations with top global researchers and organizations.
Organized by the INIC in partnership with the Organization for Development of International Science and Technology Cooperation, the delegation program aims to support knowledge-based companies and facilitate advanced technology exchanges. The delegation will visit the exhibition in Japan from January 28 to February 1, 2025.
The session began with a welcome address by Ms. Shaghayegh Ahmadi, the delegation’s representative and program manager. Dr. Mohammad Bagheri Motlagh, head of the International Affairs Group at the INIC , introduced the center’s support programs and shared key travel security guidelines.
Ms. Atefeh Hashemi-Nasab, an expert from the Export Development and Technology Exchange Corridor, provided details about financial and logistical support designed to enhance the delegation's success.
Ms. Ahmadi outlined key information about Japan’s economic and technological landscape, exhibition themes, major participants, and registration procedures. Ms. Sara Khajehpour from Vesta Travel Agency presented travel plans, accommodations, and logistical services.
Finally, Mr. Tamran Maherpour, the delegation tour leader, explained the travel itinerary, visa requirements, currency exchange, and essential preparation tips.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment, group photos, and interviews. The event was a critical step in equipping participants for a productive presence at Nano Japan 2025, which is expected to strengthen Iran’s position in the global nanotechnology landscape and foster technological collaborations.
