Patron group’s castable refractory enjoys some features including high cold compression strength, temperature tolerance in the range of 1400-1850 Celsius degree, and higher efficiency due to utilization of nanoparticles smaller than 50 nanometer.
Various binders, including colloidal ones, are used for production of castable refractories. They contain nanoparticles. Its distinctive feature is its very high cold compression strength, which can withstand temperatures from 1400 to 1850 Celsius degrees (depending on the percentage of alumina). This group of refractories received special attention due to their favorable properties and easy installation method.
Patron group was established in 2013 and has been actively pursuing production of materials necessary for steel factories, including castable and insulating masses, isotherm powder.
