A Scientific meeting was held at the booth with the cleanroom team from Sharif University of Technology, who are active in the fields of nanofabrication and microelectronics.
In this brief meeting, an expert from the Central Cleanroom at Sharif University introduced the micro/nanofab cleanroom and highlighted its potential for the development of micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) chips. He pointed out that the cleanroom has the capacity for nanoscale chip fabrication and that there are research goals within microelectronics for the future. The expert explained various sections of the micro/nanofab cleanroom at Sharif University, including PDMS, dry deposition and etching, chemical etching, and photolithography.
The president of Al-Karkh University of Science noted the valuable resources in Iran and the micro/nanofab cleanroom at Sharif University and expressed interest in establishing a research agreement. He also requested opportunities for Al-Karkh University students to visit the micro/nanofab cleanroom at Sharif University to become more familiar with the field of nanotechnology.
