Three phases of the "Science-Exploration" campaign will focus on Nanobiotechnology, in collaboration with the Mustafa (PBUH) Science and Technology Foundation, the International Innovation Zone of Iran, the Iran Nano & Micro Technologies Innovation Council (INIC), and the ECO Scientific Foundation.
The initiative aims to engage science enthusiasts by encouraging them to create content related to the achievements of Mustafa Prize laureates. Each phase of the campaign will spotlight a different scientist's work. Participants are invited to share their content on social media using the hashtag #Science_Exploration, fostering a community dialogue around scientific advancements. The campaign's phases include:
- Seventh Phase: This segment will highlight Professor Jackie Ying, founder and director of Singapore's Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology and a faculty member at MIT. She received the Mustafa Prize in 2015 for her pioneering work on advanced biomaterials and nanoscale drug delivery systems.
- Eighth Phase: Focused on Professor Omid Farokhzad, a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and 2023 Mustafa Prize laureate, this stage will explore his innovations in nanocarrier drug delivery systems, which have been clinically evaluated for novel drug development.
- Ninth Phase: This phase will feature Professor Ali Khademhosseini, a 2019 Mustafa Prize laureate and professor at UCLA. His research on hydrogels is significant for bioprinting applications, advancing the field of biomedical engineering.
Through these campaigns, the Mustafa Foundation aims to enhance public awareness and appreciation for groundbreaking scientific research in nanobiotechnology.
