It has antibacterial properties that prevent the growth of pathogenic microorganisms at the wound site, aiding in infection prevention and treatment. The silver nanoparticles generate active oxygen, which disrupts the cell membranes of bacteria, including both Gram-positive and Gram-negative strains.

Unlike many wounds and burn ointments that can cause irritation, burning, pain, and itching, this spray is free from such side effects. The disinfectant spray utilizes silver nanoparticles smaller than 100 nanometers in size and is water-based, making it suitable for medical, textile, and hygiene applications.
