Dr. Emad Ahmadvand, the Secretary General of the INIC, opened the meeting by highlighting the council's activities and achievements. Mr. Shali, the Senior Advisor to the President of Namibia, began his speech by expressing condolences for the recent loss of Iran's President and Foreign Affairs Minister, who were martyred. He praised Iran's capabilities and potential in nanotechnology, suggesting that these strengths could form the basis for collaborative efforts between the two nations.

The discussion progressed to identify specific areas for potential cooperation. One significant area of partnership identified was policy-making assistance. The INIC proposed to help Namibian counterparts in formulating policies for the development of nanotechnology, leveraging Iran's extensive experience in this field. Another important area of collaboration focused on educational initiatives. Iran offered to work together on educational programs at various levels, including student and graduate programs, as well as short-term training for faculty. This proposal aims to utilize Iran's experience in nanotechnology education to benefit both nations.

Furthermore, the establishment of a nanotechnology research center in Namibia was proposed. This center, equipped with Iran-made nanotech laboratory equipment, would facilitate advanced research and development activities, further strengthening the ties between the two countries in the field of nanotechnology. The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to explore these collaborative efforts further, marking a significant step towards enhancing nanotechnology education and research ties between Iran and Namibia.
