International Workshop on Nanofluidics at Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University

A one-day international workshop focused on the latest advancements in nanofluidics is set to take place on September 7, 2024, at Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University. The event will feature both in-person and online formats, allowing for broader participation.

 August 28, 2024  Scientific

The workshop will host eight expert speakers who will present their research, with half of the presentations occurring online and the other half in person. The morning sessions will delve into a variety of topics, including the analysis of aggressive behavior in cancer cells, classical theories of nanofluidic flow, three-dimensional simulations of ion exchange membranes for fuel cells, and the properties of carbon black in colloidal systems. Other discussions will focus on modeling neural membranes to predict heat transfer in microfluidic systems and examining the structural behavior of nanofluidic systems.

In the afternoon, the agenda will shift to optimizing graphene structures for nanofluidic devices and investigating the structural characteristics of two-dimensional MXene compounds for these applications. Additionally, PhD students will present their research in a series of short presentations during the final segment of the workshop.
