Sahand Chemicals Company, a manufacturer of carbon quantum dots and nanolubricants for machining devices, has consistently participated in the Nano Exhibition. The CEO of this company highlighted the exhibition as an essential platform for business growth and development. For the private sector, the exhibition must provide tangible benefits to warrant continuous participation. The Nano Exhibition has proven to be highly effective and beneficial for the aforementioned company. The event offers a unique networking opportunity, allowing the company to connect with individuals and organizations that would otherwise be difficult to reach.

A particularly valuable aspect of the exhibition is the B2B meetings. These interactions, especially those held at last year's exhibition, have been invaluable. Engaging with foreign companies that evaluate the company’s technologies is both educational and beneficial. Additionally, the simultaneous occurrence of the Nano Exhibition with the Industry Exhibition enhances its impact by attracting visitors from both events.

The CEO suggested that the organizers of the Nano Exhibition should focus more on commercialization aspects and work on fostering connections among companies.

Sahand Chemicals Company has received nano-scale certification for two products: quantum dots and quantum dot-based lubricants. These products are currently available in the market and are distributed through two main strategies: direct sales and through authorized agents. This dual approach ensures that the products reach a variety of companies, including Machine Sazi Tabriz (MST), Saipa Company, and Naein Development & Construction, which produces parts for Iran Khodro. Alongside product sales, the company continues to develop its product portfolio.

Regarding the application of quantum dots in the industry, the CEO noted their supply as raw materials to the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. A notable application of quantum dots is in the welding sector, where they are used in welding starters to minimize spark dispersion during welding.

Last year, the company expanded its production capacity by inaugurating a new production line on a 1,000-square-meter plot, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory.
