Nano Education Portal started its activity in 2011 by presenting educational contents in form of articles and papers on various topics in the field of nanotechnology. The site serviced a limited audience at the beginning. However, efforts were made to meet the educational demands of university students interested in nanotechnology.
In two years and in line with the significant advances of nanotechnology in Iran, the portal experienced a new phase of development. At this stage, the development team with the help of various nanotechnology instructors and students, made educational contents in the form of educational articles on various topics related to nanotechnology at different educational levels from general to highly specialized. Various competitions, files and multimedia contents were provided in the field of nanotechnology. This stage development took almost four years. During the stage the portal audience reached 25,000 with more than 5,000 views per day.
By taking audience suggestions into account, the portal entered the third phase of its development in 2017. At this stage, in addition to the development of previous content formats, online and offline training courses were prepared on a wide range of topics related to nanotechnology taught by professors and nanotechnology specialists across the country.
Now, the nanotechnology educational portal is in the fourth phase of its development. It aims to introduce itself as a comprehensive platform for specialized nanotechnology training in the country servicing more than 45,000 university students and graduates and 10,000 visits per day.
