ECONANO is the specialized organization that promotes scientific and industrial development of nanotechnology in ECO region.
ECONANO established in 2008 by Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) for the purpose of promoting scientific, technical and educational cooperation among the Member States. The main goal of the Network is to strengthen cooperation among ECO countries in nano-technological research and development. The experiences of the member states would synergize development measures and policy formulation on nanotechnology in such sectors as public health, employment, occupational safety, information society, industry, innovation, environment, energy, transport, security and space.
ECONANO bring regional expertise and experience to address complex development challenges through nanotechnology.
ECONANO recognize and develop competencies and knowledge, encourage scientists and inventors thinking, strengthen integrity and accountability and reward team achievement.
In recent years, ECONANO has assumed an enhanced role to widen geographic scope and increase eco delivery volume to serve more countries and people.
