A specialized panel on “Participation in Developing International Nanotechnology Standards” will be held on the sidelines of the 16th International Nanotechnology Exhibition of Iran, to foster collaboration among domestic experts and enhance Iran’s active presence in global standardization bodies.

At the recent hybrid plenary meeting of ISO’s Nanotechnology Committee (ISO/TC 229), held in Sweden from May 19–23, 2025, Iranian experts participated virtually in specialized working group sessions. Iran presented and defended two standards under its leadership and proposed three new international standards.
