The Islamic Republic of Iran, leveraging more than a decade of experience in organizing national nanotechnology olympiads, has successfully expanded its model to the international stage. By supporting the establishment of the International Nanotechnology Olympiad, Iran has taken a significant step toward promoting science, education, innovation, and scientific diplomacy.

Researchers from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, in collaboration with scientists from the Royan Institute, University of Science and Culture (Iran), and De Montfort University (UK), have successfully developed a new generation of smart, size- and charge-switchable nanocarriers capable of delivering the chemotherapy drug doxorubicin (DOX) deep into brain tumor tissue.
