Considering the importance of health, safety and environmental aspects in the field of nanotechnology, Iran Nanosafety Network was established by INIC In the summer of 2012.

Nanosafety network goals:

• Networking specialists, researchers and related industrial centers in order to act in the field of nanosafety
• To set national priorities in harmony with the mission of network and its implementation
• Supporting the country to set the rules, standards and guidelines related to safety, health and environment of the nanotechnology

In order to achieve mentioned objectives, four specialized working groups were established in this network:

• Human Health
• Occupational Safety
• Environmental Safety 
• Nanoethics
