National Nanotechnology Competition, the largest nanotechnology competition among Iranian students, is held annually under the supervision of Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council. The first phase of the 9th NNC was held online in May 2019, and the qualified examinees proceeded to the second phase of the competition. Applicants competed on Friday, July 19, 2019.
More than 4000 applicants participated in the first phase of National Nanotechnology Competition (NNC), out of which about 1700 were qualified to take part in the final phase. The final phase was held on Friday, July 19, 2019 in 28 provinces. Applicants were asked to answer 100 multiple-choice questions within 130 minutes. The top 10 winners of NNC will be awarded.
Moreover, 100 top NNC participants can take part in Nanostartup program and try their chances in developing a technological idea towards a nano-product and hopefully step towards establishing a knowledge-based company in future.
